Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/18), enacted on September 18, 2018, guarantees privacy, protection and transparency in the use of natural persons’ data in electronic media.

Needs extra care because it concerns intimate aspects of a person.

What you can request

As the data subject, the law gives you a set of rights over your information.

  • Confirm that we are processing your data
  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data
  • Request anonymization, blocking or deletion
  • Ask for portability to another provider
