Plastic and paper, with purpose
We started by producing our own film in 1993. Since then we have turned each gain into industrial capacity — and taken that learning into new markets.
What Nova A3 does
For more than 30 years we have been a reference in gloves, inserts and flexible packaging — for the quality of the service and for innovative solutions.
Among the markets we serve, cosmetics stands out: we supply two components hair color cannot do without, the disposable glove pair and the information leaflet.
Our rotary printing, automatic small-format folders and GMP culture also let us serve pharmaceuticals, with high-quality inserts and a fast response.
With the disposable glove range we have developed, we have specific products for supermarkets, quick-service, salons, pet shops, food plants, laboratories and compounding pharmacies.
A history told in stages
Each company in the group solved one part of the problem. Nova A3 is the sum of them.
- 1993
GEPLASRIO is founded
This is where it started: perforated produce bags, in special sizes for the international market. From the beginning, we produced our own plastic film.
- 1996
First glove machine
We imported the first automatic disposable-glove machine and began supplying the cosmetics market.
- 1999
Safety-One is founded
GEPLASRIO’s success was so clear that we opened a company dedicated entirely to gloves.
- 2000
Matrix is founded
To join the glove pair to the information leaflet, we created the Matrix print shop — already on the most modern process: rotary printing.
- 2002
Nova A3 is born
With a German machine maker, we developed our own machine to join gloves and leaflet into one item: the Automatic Kit.
- 2005
The group merges
With the future drawn, we began merging every company in the group into Nova A3.
- 2009
Our own plant in Areal
We built a plant four times larger, and eco-sustainable: 55,000 m² of land, 7,000 m² built, rainwater reuse, natural light and 13,000 m² of environmental reserve.
- 2013
Expansion into Mexico
We opened the first plant outside Brazil, focused on the North American market.
- 2016
New administrative headquarters
Administration moves into an open-plan office at Complexo Nova América Offices, to encourage communication and integration between teams.
- 2017
We don’t stop
We created a team dedicated to innovation, engaged in solutions that are more accessible, more sustainable and more specific for everyone.
